10/10: The most underrated film of all time
Friday, May 17, 2019

I first watched this film in 2003 when I was a little kid, despite it being a film more fitting for mature audiences I still understood it to a certain extent and enjoyed it. When the other Hulk film came out in 2008, I initially enjoyed that one more because it had more action in it and I was still too young to appreciate the story of the Ang Lee Hulk film fully. Then a few years later I rewatched Ang Lee Hulk and realised just how great it was and how underrated it was. My point is, only intelligent people realise how great this film is, and from my life experience I can prove that personally as I didn't like this film nowhere near as much during my childhood when I was of course less intelligent than I am now. If people were smarter on average the ratings for this film would be far higher.I thought the...

10/10: Best, and least understood, comic book movie
Sunday, June 3, 2018

This film has a solid cast and brilliant director. Ang Lee understood first of all that this was a COMIC BOOK film, explaining the cut screen in multiple scenes, as though you were reading a comic. If anyone understands the archetype of anger, they will understand this film. The film also used cutting edge CGI for it's time, to make hulk look as real as possible. In addition, the film explains briefly in the opening credits how David Banner creates the Super cell, by combining specific species genetics, and then his own. Ang Lee includes the attributes that are unique to Hulk: He metamorphs when triggered by emotional stress, he becomes even larger when angrier, and his strength only increases as he becomes enraged. He can run incredibly fast, and leap incredibly far. Yes, he is incredible! His skin is resistant to great stress from bullets, tank rounds, missiles, and even nukes! His skin, if damaged, repairs itself at...

10/10: An Incredibly Underrated Film Got Bad Response From Critis & Fans
Thursday, December 1, 2011

its sad that such an underrated film hulk 2003 is treated as trash by critics & fan boys yes like the ones who love Daniel Craig as James bond well he sucks.i saw the new hulk 2008 and it was not bad but not good either it was only full of action & bad story.this one directed by Ang-lee hulk 2003 got a stronger script & storyline which many people failed to understand. one of the reasons is that i was too slow & depressing & sad . but this for me will always be the best marvel hulk film ever.Eric Bana & Jennifer Connelly did great acting.i wish Ang-Lee should have made a sequel to this rather then 2008 dull versiondon't listen to bad reviews i love this i got DVD of this & new 2008 hulk .but i enjoy this one more.my rating is 10/10 must watch film

10/10: If you're expecting another Spider Man
Monday, June 30, 2003

then this might not be your cup of tea, because it's not that kind of film. It's a lot more dark and slower-paced, and has less humor and action. That may sound boring, but it's actually one of the most interesting films I've seen all year. I was glued to my seat for the whole two hours and twenty minutes. My friend didn't like it, however, and the audience had very strongly mixed reactions; some were actually cheering, while a few others nodded off (namely the guy behind me who started snoring loudly right before the mutant dog scene. It made a really weird accompaniment) but like I said, I was totally hooked, so proceed at your own risk

5/10: Hulk
Monday, February 24, 2020

Sappy, dry, dramatic and boring. Hulk (2003) has some aspects I like such as the three lead characters, the villain is meh, the Hulk scenes are pretty cool and it does have some interesting ideas. But this film is very slow paced, filled with pretty wooden dialogue and is too drama heavy rather than fueling us comic book fans with more action. Overall this film is a misguided attempt at a Hulk film
