A new wonderful music that will be loved and remembered permanently! In the 1860's Mrs Anna Owens was appointed by the King of Siam as the teacher of his children. He desired to give them (and himself) a "modern" schooling, to make an impression on visiting dignitaries with how up-to-date he has been, so that they would accept him as a globe innovator, like them. He thought it would become a easy communication of understanding and understanding, like someone studying a fresh arranged of jargon.This naive and misguided motive, seeking to impress without really wanting modernity, produced a clash of cultures. Luckily for all of us (and especially for the film business) Anna kept a scrupulous and detailed journal of the whole event. It has been made into a film starring Rex Harrison, which has been more historically accurate than this musical edition instead, and had been a quite interesting movie in several methods.This motion...
