4/10: Lacklustre Endangered Species is unfortunately...

Lacklustre Endangered Species is unfortunately not a great film. It follows a group of five people on vacation in Kenya and their encounter with dangerous wildlife and poachers in a national park. The acting is not bad as it has Rebecca Romjin playing a diabetic mother Lauren Halsey, with Philip Winchester playing her uptight executive husband Jack. Isabel Basset and Michael Johnston play their children Zoe and Noah and the group is completed by Zoe's easy going hippie boyfriend Billy portrayed by Chris Fisher. On the second day of their vacation they all go to a large game park alone as Jack wouldn't pay for the extras including a guide and guard since he might be losing his job back at home.Predictably they veer off the prescribed route, enter an expressly forbidden path and soon find their vehicle rammed and overturned by an angry Rhino mother protecting her calf. Soon they are faced with a pack of...

Bad writing, lousy CGI & too many situations involving a lack of common sense. Really bad writing. Lots of cringing moments, especially the one daughter character that's suppose to be 18 years old yet acting half that with all her spoiled brat tirades oblivious to the situations at hand. The worst part that had me dismayed and literally laughing out loud & saying to myself "are you serious" was the part when the family discovered the rhino that was dead then the baby came into view with the Mother and daughter wanting to stay where they where to "help the baby"..... its a wild animal and your lost in the middle of the safari with every member of your family bleeding and/or injured. 🤷🤣 The only person that seemed to have any common sense was the Father.

Another worst action film! Too slow, and full of annoying overuse scene! Bored to freaking death! This film start with the Halsey family flying in the plane, and they landing at Kenya scene! As turnout, this film is about family of Halsey need to survive in the jungle with wild animal, and poacher attacking them! Entire film full of boring conversation, and annoying overuse scene! Such as, overuse of the arguing scene, overuse of the calling names scene, overuse of the walking scene, overuse of the scenery view scene, and overuse of the driving scene! Make the film unwatchable! Barely intense scene is, a rhino ram at Halsey family's van! At the end, Halsey family visiting the zoo dedicated to Jack! That's it! Wasting time to watch!

Lost in the Wokeness of Wild Africa & weak CGI. The only endangered species in this movie is the middle aged white man. Even the wild animals need to be educated to wokeness lol. It's a different angle to a survival movie. But badly executed. Poachers are evil men and the agency that takes them down are all females 😂.The protagonists in these movies are always very annoying. But to the general public they are the real antagonists. These woke films are actually funny at times. We can make bets on the predictable outcomes in each scene and how the the woke empowered characters overcome the white man or just the man in general throughout the movie.

3/10: what's with the casting...

what's with the casting???? The story is bad enough. Five of the dumbest and most contrary tourists in the history of film decide it would be cool to manage their own safari. With no prior experience whatsoever. But the casting is absurd. Early in the script the husband criticizes his daughter for dating an older boy. The wife (played by the too-glamorous Rebecca Romijn) replies the age difference was the same as theirs ... when they dated. Except the casting is backwards. In reality Romijn is 10 years older than Winchester, and not the other way around?????
